Adverse and traumatic events in life can leave us feeling unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. I believe healing begins when we become present with the pain and honor its existence. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma/post traumatic stress disorder, sex-abuse, betrayal trauma, trauma bonding, attachment issues, codependency, addictions/pornography/substance use, religious trauma, faith realignment/transition, LGBTQ+, same sex attraction, grief/bereavement, relational distress, emotional regulation, stress management, self-compassion, mindfulness, individuals, couples, and groups.
My approach to therapy is compassion-focused, warm, direct, and research-based. I am trained in traditional psychotherapy, experiential, somatic, and psychodrama modalities. The combination of trainings, education, and experience give clients a more robust therapeutic experience, along with solid tools and resources that are effective and life-changing.
