I believe that the process a perspective client goes through to not only identify the right therapist for them, but also develop a therapeutic relationship, is daunting and difficult. Because of this, I strive to provide a psycho-therapeutic environment that is uniquely collaborative. My approach to psychotherapy reflects the individuality of the client, and also provides an opportunity to identify core difficulties, discover a means of overcoming them, and work towards a deeper self-understanding. I focus on depression, anxiety, trauma resolution, anger, substance abuse, family discord, job stress, and problems of adolescence.
My approach is informed by the varied academic and professional experiences I've had. It is fundamental to me that a warm but professional rapport with clients be established. From there, I utilize a client-centered approach to begin exploring a client's unique lived experiences, and REBT to identify, process, and change distorted thoughts and beliefs.
My experiences have given me the privilege of interacting in numerous environments and with a diverse array of people. Through these experiences and interactions, I've developed conviction for the service of people in need. It is my intent to help people improve their lives and advance towards personal growth.
