Hello, my name is Bob Risavi and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I work with adults from 21 to 100. I try to help them cope with and solve problems within their everyday lives. To do this I use several styles of therapy depending on the individual and their particular needs. There is no such thing as a one size fits all strategy. For example CBT therapy is very effective with many patients but psychodynamic therapy may be more effective for other individuals depending on circumstance. The bottom line is, I shape the therapy sessions with you to yield your desired result the best way possible.
I believe the key to successful therapy is based on the trust and relationship built between therapist and client. I listen to you and will be a champion of your goals and efforts. Together we will design a path through the issues or crisis you face. You are never alone in this process. I return calls promptly.
Being older I can relate to medicare clients due to life experience and clinical experience. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but with my skills, education and 20 years of experience I will help you utilize your strengths to face your challenges.
