About
I believe that a successful working relationship is woven together with factors that lend trust and confidence to our process. These elements include my professional training and experience, our comfort zone allowing us to build an important bridge, and your motivation to work on the issues at hand. The most important ingredients for successful therapy are trust, fit, chemistry and motivation.
I am a collaborator in your success. We work together to develop the goals and direction of your treatment. My clients say they benefit from my caring honesty, my tendency to avoid psychobabble and my use of humor to help them see things differently.
I have considerable success working with boys who are sometimes less willing participants in treatment. Through our work I have helped them change their lives and their behavior in healthy directions. I am also trained in hypnosis for clients that are interested in utilizing this option.
