About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents, and families for over 10 years. I have extensive experience working with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns (i.e., adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, mood problems, oppositional behaviors, identity development, parent-child conflicts, attention problems and behavior management). I also work with young adults, focusing on stress management, life transitions, and struggles with identity that occur in early adulthood. Although I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, my primary goal is to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients that allows clients to feel safe and supported in our work together.
I have a specialty area of practice in pediatric health psychology, providing assessment and treatment of psychological issues for children with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, pain disorders and brain injury. I also have a specialty area of practice working with children who have suffered childhood trauma and maltreatment or medical trauma.
