At Meristem Therapy Services, we know that change is difficult no matter how young or old we may feel or be. The journey of your change is what we look forward to exploring with you, no matter how quickly or how long it may take. That exploration will work towards learning self-affirming ways that you can cope with challenges and become a stronger, more self-assured and resilient person. Robert's clinical style is person-centered, identity-affirming, and culturally responsive that informs how your work together can help you effectively navigate the complexities of your life.
I primarily work with adults (17-64). I use a variety of skills to help with what you would like to address. Ultimately, the relationship during our sessions is what is important. My modalities include harm reduction therapy, IFS, relational, interpersonal, and emotion-focused. I am trained in motivational interviewing, CPT, and CBT.
I will meet you where you are with your journey and together we can build opportunities for you to approach your journey with the strength needed to make informed choices. I value the relationship that forms within therapy and will emphasize your strengths. I enjoy introducing therapy to someone who has never tried therapy.
