Anxiety, depression, marital/work problems, children, losses and trauma unfortunately are part of life. In my twenty eight years of combined education and experience in the field, I can help.
My practice consists of assessing and treating mood disorders, depression, anxiety, loss, and trauma. In addition, my specialty in family/marriage counseling are effective in helping you and those who may be involved find resolution. In the child and adolescent area, the development in behavioral modification plan/interventions, education is provided.
In my capacity as a mental health professional, I utilized sound theoretically based modalities, reality therapy/cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy. In the area of loss/trauma, I have been trained in EMDR (Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Prolonged exposure therapy (PE). I have flexible practice hours including weekday, evenings and Saturdays.
