After more than 35 years of practice, I believe that intellectual and emotional insight must lead to behavioral change for psychotherapy to have true value for the client. The process of self-discovery allows the client to make clear and informed choices and to take responsibility for the results. I prefer clients who are courageous enough to seek the truth and change how they behave in order to create a better life.
