For more than 30 years, Robert H. Fox, Ph.D., a New York State Licensed Psychologist, has successfully helped teens, adults, and seniors. While maintaining a broad general practice, Dr. Fox, a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist, has made the treatment of eating disorders a focus of his practice. Many patients come to Dr. Fox to learn ways to manage and resolve other psychological and emotional problems as well, including, anxiety, depression, trauma, and marital and family issues. He is a warm and caring professional who can help.
Robert Fox also specializes in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including the use of EMDR. Dr. Fox has been a provider for Police Officers Providing Peer Assistance, Inc. (POPPA), devoting a portion of his practice to the treatment of New York City Police Officers, helping them deal with stress and trauma.
Dr. Fox is recognized in the field of eating disorders and has served as a Board Member and is a Past-President of the National Eating Disorders Association of Long Island.
