About

I specialize in intensive treatment for marriages and relationships in crisis. I have many years experience helping couples reestablish the emotional and physical closeness they once enjoyed. I help each partner identify and understand how familial, financial, sexual and work-related pressures impact their relationship. I promote improvement in communication skills, helping prevent separations or divorces which, upon introspection, could have been prevented. Upon assessment, I identify and clearly discuss each person's particular problem areas and needs for growth. I provide and model the skills necessary for improvement and guide the couple toward their particular relationship solutions.
I specialize in couples and individuals who, despite other therapies, have been unable to stop their chronic disharmony and slide toward dissolution. As a mature man, I am skilled in connecting with men who are reluctant to enter therapy. I put men at ease and engage them through frank and deliberate discussion.
When appropriate, I offer intensive intervention toward preventing the long-term emotional, relational and financial consequences so common in separation and divorce. Sessions are generally two to three clinical hours in length and held in a very private setting. Call or email for more information.
