I identify as a queer person of color and hope to best serve those communities who feel underrepresented in professional fields. Common areas that I work with are trauma, gender identity and expression, career related difficulties, couples/interpersonal relationship issues, and mood/anxiety disorders. I work heavily with the linguistic ways we approach "problems" and through a narrative and solutions focused approach we would work on restoring your sense freedom as you navigate life's difficulties.
I am a double Northwestern grad with a background in gender studies. I work most frequently with queer and trans populations, but will see any and all clients. I am ENM and poly affirming and informed and very broadly work towards creating a safe space for all of my clients.
Having opened my own practice, Busy Bee Counseling, I hope to continue to contribute to the diverse population of clients I serve and assist. I see myself as a library that holds the experiences of all of my clients and I use those resources and my skills to help all of those to come.
