For those of us who cannot find the right answers, it is usually because we make decisions that lead us to predictable outcomes rather than creative solutions. I assist clients who are interested in exploration of how the patterns of our lives limit our development of options. My idea of a successful outcome will show itself as a spontaneous and original experience that challenges the status quo, while encouraging the growth of supportive relationships. An exploration of family experiences can offer an effective recognition of patterns limiting the development of options, and the promotion of living in the moment.
Among the primary accomplishments of effective therapy is the achievement of balance. I welcome an active examination of those life experiences that challenge the need for limits that paralyze one's trust of self, and the trust of others. The shaping of supportive relationships is the key to sustained success.
As one who comes from a bi-cultural family history, I believe that it is vital to explore the values and prohibitions of family beliefs and practices. Frequently, we live our lives and define our decisions by these values, limiting our exposure to new ideas and original concepts.
