About
Helping people make healthy, constructive life changes is the primary goal of my practice. Also, assisting people to find ways of coping with and dealing with things they can't change is another important focus of my work. My therapeutic approach is active, practical, caring and solution-focused. I respect people and honor their self-worth while helping them get from negative places in their lives to places of satisfaction and emotional well-being.
My specialty and passion is working with adults, teens and children who are depressed, anxious and overwhelmed. My major focus is on individual, family, parenting and marital issues as well as learning disabilities and ADHD evaluations. My main specialty is helping people find what works best in making life changes.
I've been married for over 40 years. My wife, Linda, is also a licensed professional counselor and we practice together in a faith-based setting. We have two grown children, four terrific grandsons and one goofy golden retriever. My passions are my faith, my family and helping people.
