I specialize in working with individuals that may be feeling uncertain about their life direction. Most common issues addressed include interpersonal conflict due to unhelpful behaviors of their own, damaging coping skills, and redefining how they would like to move through the world ahead. I find great value in the client-therapist relationship and enjoy building a collaborative alliance as we work together to identify the "what" and "why" before moving on to the "how" of addressing them.
I have advanced training in DBT and ACT. The concepts from each model can be helpful in building skills to react to overwhelming emotions and unhelpful thought spirals. This has proven especially beneficial to individuals with BPD or those that have a lost sense of identify or direction. I am also trained in EMDR and will use this frequently for trauma work.
Regardless of what step you are on in your mental health journey, I would be happy to meet you where you are and work with you towards your goals. Please reach out for a free consultation to make sure I am a good fit for you and your needs.
