I have been working remotely since the pandemic. I have not observed a significant difference in the efficacy of treatment delivered in this format and the advantages are many. I am most effective in helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, an inability to prosper, find happiness or enjoy satisfying relationships with others. I work well with men and women of all ages and adolescents. For those who wish to be understood and understand themselves I am a good choice. It is the very act of making oneself known to others that is therapeutic. In so doing we become known to ourselves as well.
My speciality is psychodynamic psychotherapy. In individual, couple or group treatment the objective is to uncover underlying assumptions about self and other which have been distorted by early life trauma and modify them. It is the safe, trusting and respectful nature of the therapeutic relationship that allows for this.
I offer a comfortable, private and safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together we can uncover and modify the dynamics that are the cause of your suffering. My experience, training and education have helped me to refine my skills, sensitivity and ability to work effectively.
