I'm Robby McGowen and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and EMDR Certified Therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families who have endured traumatic events in their lives. I help people who are tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or isolated, and they're ready for tools and strategies to regain control and confidence again. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, where we explore your strengths, confront obstacles, and create meaningful change together. Whether you're facing overwhelming stress, emotional struggles, or relationship conflicts, I am here to support you with empathy and accountability.
My career started off working with veterans and at-risk youth, experiences that showed me what strength & resilience really look like. I've spent years in behavioral health leadership roles, running therapeutic programs that have supported teens, veterans, & families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, anger, grief & other addictions.
When we work together, you can expect a safe, genuine environment where trust, honesty, and openness are top priorities. My goal is to equip you with solid, practical tools that make handling life's ups and downs easier and more manageable. I believe everyone has the capacity for change and growth.
