I approach life as a student with a deep interest in the mind—its hidden drivers, patterns, and motivations. My work is grounded in understanding why we do what we do, drawing heavily from eastern philosophy/mysticism (particularly concepts of ego and self realization) alongside evolutionary psychology. I am a nerd for both!
I have a long history of working with men struggling with substance use disorders and men’s issues, while also working with people across a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. No two paths are the same. Being human is complicated, and meaningful change rarely follows a straight line.
Therapy with me is collaborative and practical. We focus on honest self-understanding by examining thoughts, feelings, and behaviors from different perspectives. The work builds awareness, opens the mind, identifies what works and what doesn’t, normalizes human experience without over-pathologizing it, and moves toward more effective ways of being.
With nearly twenty years of experience in this field, I bring both clinical expertise and a genuine curiosity about each person’s story. I won’t position myself as the authority on your life. My role is to offer insight, ask meaningful questions, and partner with you as we work toward clarity and growth.
