Life can be very challenging and overwhelming, and our natural tendency is to freeze or flee from our issues. However the best solution is to walk through them, and I can help you in that process. I like to listen intently to hurting or frustrated people who are stuck in addictions, toxic relationships, depression, anxiety, and confusing situations and help them come up with solutions that will work. It's important to feel supported when we're overwhelmed, and I make that my primary goal.
I've worked several years in residential and school settings for troubled youth, and currently with the general public in my private practice. I enjoy working with adults on a variety of challenges, particularly trauma and relationship problems. Grief, depression, and anxiety are also common struggles I've helped people through.
I have roughly 10 years experience in both pastoral ministry and clinical counseling. My favorite part of counseling is getting to know your story and helping you grow through the challenge.
