Rob Garland is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. He received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which included a year practicum in the UNC Department of Psychology community clinic. Rob began working in behavioral health a decade ago, working with adolescents in group settings. Since then, he has worked with homeless adults, college students, and adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
Most recently, he has provided mental health, crisis response, and substance use disorder treatment in a community setting, and substance use disorder treatment to young adults. Rob uses a person-in-environment perspective in working with his patients, focusing heavily on the therapeutic relationship to drive progress.

Avance Care is launching in person & virtual Adult ADHD Masterclass. Course is made up of 2 series: FOCUS & FOLLOW THROUGH and SELF-CARE & RELATIONSHIPS. In the first series clients will learn about ADHD, Motivation, Time management, Organization, & Memory/study boosting through practical interventions and personalized treatment plan. In the second series clients will learn about Emotion regulation, Self care and burn-out, Boundaries and Healthy relationships. Clients can elect to attend the entire 10 week course (Discounted: $450), one series (5 Lessons, $250) or pop in for 1 Lesson ($50). INSURANCE NOW ACCEPTED 2024! The next series begins Jan22,2023.
