About
I am a warm and compassionate clinical psychologist, with over thirty years of experience in the following areas: depression, anxiety, difficulties in relationships, psychosomatic symptoms, parenting issues, balancing motherhood and the work place, separation, loss, and struggles of creativity.
My goal is to provide a safe therapeutic environment where the exploration of painful issues can create new opportunities for hope and change.
I hold a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of London, and a Certificate in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis from the New York University Post-Doctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
I am experienced working with children, adolescents and adults addressing life issues, such as: anxiety and depression, psychosomatic symptoms, professional dilemmas, parenting issues, difficulties in intimacy, the impact of major life changes such as separation, divorce and immigration, and struggles with creativity.
My work as a therapist has been enhanced by my extensive post graduate experiences: I teach and supervise therapists at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. In addition to my clinical work, I have written a play called "Eavesdropping on Dreams", which explores the transmission of the Holocaust trauma through three generations.
