I have a passion for helping people find their power and rewrite the story of who they are. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, late-diagnosed ADHD, depression, family-of-origin issues, internalized shame/self-criticism, relational traumas, hEDS "Zebras," people stable in their 12-Step recovery looking to dive deeper to heal root issues; and I have unique insights into helping transplants from other cultures.
We talk about "mental" health as though mind and body were disconnected. I see us as whole beings connected to a web of other beings, communities, the Earth, and the Universe. I use mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral, and relational psychodynamic talk therapies, as much as I use somatic practices, visualizations and others modalities based on your needs.
I’m authentic and interactive in session; at heart a little “woo-woo” and exuberant. I care a lot about personal agency and living in alignment with one’s values and higher purpose.
