I offer a wide range of treatment modalities, including mind-body therapies as well as traditional psychotherapy. These include CBT, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and EMDR. My style is active, engaging and focused on achieving client goals within a time limited framework. Having 35 years experience as a therapist, combined with specialty treatments, allows for shorter therapy time and a high degree of success. Lengthy therapy is unnecessary in order to experience positive results and achieve desired goals. I work with both individuals and couples.
My specialty is helping people who, despite efforts to change, continue to struggle with problems in coping or with uncomfortable symptoms. These symptoms can include anxiety, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, or relationship difficulties. While working on resolving symptoms I also focus on resiliency skill building utilizing CBT, Somatic Experiencing and EMDR.
