My name is Rita Del Toro and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. I help clients manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship stress, dual diagnoses and mood disorders. I treat both adolescent and adult clients. My approach to therapy is specific to my client's needs. My person-centered approach helps clients and I build a mutual understanding of the therapeutic process that best serves them. The most common therapeutic modalities I use include Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
My communication style is genuinely authentic and person oriented. I strive to create a safe environment for my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I also pride myself on my ability to empathize and listen without any judgment.
