Rise and Shine Family Therapy, LLC strives to provide quality, evidence-based treatment to youth and their caregivers through individual, group, and family services. We aim to empower individual and family systems with skills that allow them to RISE from ambivalence, isolation, and distress to a place where they SHINE and grow in relationships, cognitions, and wellness; living with purpose.
Our Team
I bring over 18 years of experience as a clinician, with expertise in the areas of research, child welfare, juvenile justice, domestic and international school systems, and private practice therapy and assessment. I am passionate about mental health and aspire to create a climate of empathy, creativity, and understanding with families. I am a skilled clinician who strives to build resilience and adaptability in all my clients.

I enjoy working with children and adolescents who are seeking to improve their mental health and overall functioning. I am particularly passionate about working with youth navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, social anxiety, and panic disorder.
A key component of my approach involves strong collaboration with parents and caregivers. I believe that a supportive and involved family system plays a crucial role in a child’s therapeutic progress and long-term success.

I bring just under 5 years of experience working with high risk youth in outpatient therapy and recovery treatment centers providing individual, family, group, and parent support services in person and virtually. I have a background in medical social work (oncology) and am attuned to the complex needs of families in crisis and long-term care.
