Hi there, I'm Rio! I’m Rio (he/him), a queer-affirming therapist offering virtual care for adults and couples in California and Massachusetts. I specialize in helping LGBTQ+ clients, as well as those navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, or substance use. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical, focused on helping you build insight, reduce distress, and feel more confident in your daily life.
We’ll start by clarifying what brought you to therapy and identifying specific, meaningful goals together. I help clients build coping tools, explore core beliefs, and develop insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Along the way, I offer practical skills and emotional support to help you navigate challenges and move toward the life you want.
