About
As with many other things in life, I am a firm believer that there is a “no one size fits all approach" in counseling. What this looks like in therapy is working collaboratively with you, using an integrative approach that is tailored to best fit your needs. I use theoretical approaches that fit with both your personality and presenting issues in counseling; primarily utilizing solution-focused and client-centered approaches, specifically focusing on strengths. It is always my hope to create a safe and comfortable space where growth can flourish.
I am very passionate about LGBTQ+, sexuality and sexual-related concerns. I also work with numerous different presenting concerns ranging from stress management and life transitions to anxiety and depression to substance use. I conduct both individual therapy and various group therapies including Relapse Prevention and Women's Batterers Intervention groups.
I am a primary therapist at both Counseling of Southwest Florida and Therapy Treatment Team in Naples, FL. - - - - I commend you for taking the first step in getting the support you desire. Seeking out counseling can be scary! With that, I would like to personally thank you in advance for trusting me with this piece of your story.

Riley Burke's Groups
Women's Batterers Intervention Program
This is a 29-week program focused on helping women involved in domestic violence to learn anger management, communication and relationship skills. This group can help to start the healing process of childhood trauma, improve current emotional regulation skills, and help set the foundation of healthy relationships with your spouse/children. This is a DCF and court-approved course for those that are working towards regaining custody of their children or have to complete a domestic violence course for court. It is also open to those that just want to improve their communication, marriage, and learn anger and stress management.
