The clients I am best suited to help are those struggling with emotional pain stemming from trauma, neglect, and other adverse experiences. Many of my clients are young people who are experiencing the negative consequences of uncontrolled anger, depression, anxiety, and impulsive behaviors. I provide a space in which my clients receive understanding, stability, and the safety to express their emotions without being judged.
I also specialize in working with adults who feel overwhelmed by societal expectations and feel there’s no place they can rest and be vulnerable. These clients usually come into therapy wanting to break the cycle of isolation, suppression, depression, and anxiety. I am to be an observer and learner before anything else.
I take the time to listen and regard you as the expert on yourself, once we have enough pieces of your puzzle, we get to work, pulling from a collection of various evidence-based treatment approaches.
