I am a woman of great faith, a deep love for my family, and an abundance of hope! I truly believe I was called into the counseling ministry. I have a heart for coming alongside others as they endeavor to move forward in life. With a belief in human potential and each person's inherent worth, I offer companionship for the journey! The name Sacred Space Counseling Center, LLC was intentionally chosen. It encapsulates the essence of what therapy is to me, and ...what I hope it becomes for you! I have been in the helping field for 20+ years and a counselor for 15. I am currently pursuing my PhD in counselor education and supervision. Gratefully, I have completed all doctoral coursework and am now entering the dissertation phase of things. Additionally, I recently completed EMDR training and am now studying the Gottman Method of couple counseling.
Not one of us has been left unmarred by life. We all have issues! I believe authentic and life changing growth must come from within. I see each person as the expert on him or herself. I work hard for my clients, and ask that they do the same!
