Thank you for clicking on my profile. I provide individual counseling to adults. I treat many areas of mental health, but I specialize in the area sex addiction and help clients find freedom from their compulsive and destructive behavior. I want to help you understand what your behavior is about and the story you might be acting out in your addiction. I want to give you tools on how to stop it and to find new meaningful ways to live in relationship with yourself and those closest to you. Sexual addiction is so very hard, and I want to be in it with you, walking with you in your journey and coming alongside you as you make changes.
I like to integrate different modalities to address every aspect of the person. Therefore, I'll use modalities that address thinking, feeling, family of origin, and your past. I am a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) and received my training under Patrick Carnes through IITAP. I can also help treat past trauma and am certified in the use of EMDR.
As a client you will feel respected, accepted and validated. I aim challenge you in a way that only moves you towards realizing your true potential and the person you want to be.
