Are you tired of not living fully? I want to help you to create your life worth living. A long time ago you made decisions about yourself and the world. It is possible to re-decide outdated beliefs. After over 30 years as a therapist I have pulled together what I have found to be the most effective methods to create change. My approach is interactive, respectful and down-to-earth. When we meet, I will listen carefully, help you clarify your feelings and help you figure out what you can do to make your situation better. I will share with you any ideas, tools or skills I believe might help you get to where you want to be.
I help individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life/role transitions, and trauma. I also have a specialty in the treatment of eating disorders, helping people change their relationships with food and body acceptance.
I draw from rich learning experiences I have had over the years…Co-Founder of The Atlanta Men’s Center…Co-Owner and Clinical Director of the Atlanta Center For Eating Disorders (ACE) for 24 years…Assist. V. P. of Clinical Operations, Southeast Region, of Walden Behavioral Care (after it acquired ACE). I have enjoyed a private practice since 1990.
