Many of our clients arrive frustrated. Previous therapy felt supportive but directionless — lots of talking, not much changing. We hear this constantly, and it's why we built our practice around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our therapists treat anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, postpartum mood changes, panic, relationship problems, painful obsessive thoughts, and life transitions. We give you real skills you can use outside of sessions — not just a space to vent. We accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Tricare East.

I am different from most therapists in that I offer solutions early in the therapy process and I give advice. I tend to work well with people who want to get better, but are not necessarily excited about seeing a therapist - or who have not benefited from therapy in the past. It is very valid to seek out a therapist simply for support. It is what a lot of people need. But it is difficult to find a therapist who will help you understand what is perpetuating your problems in a clear and actionable way - and who will offer evidence-based interventions to make your life better as soon as possible so that you can live a happier life.

Adults in Midlothian and North Chesterfield seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, and life transitions make up the heart of my practice. Many are navigating postpartum mood changes, relationship strain, or the lasting effects of trauma. I work best with clients who are ready to understand their patterns and make real changes. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients build practical coping skills, shift unhelpful thinking, and move forward with clarity.
