Richard’s treatment approach includes using cognitive behavioral therapies along with aspects of solution focused treatments, motivational interviewing, supportive counseling and psychoeducation to work with the patient to address and change thoughts and behaviors to improve day to day functioning for the patient. His primary areas of focus in counseling are addressing anxiety and depression related disorders, he also has experience treating substance use disorders. In his free time Richard enjoys spending time visiting with friends and family, playing games and watching shows.
Additionally in his free time Richard reads and studies, working to improve his knowledge of a variety of subject matters.
