In my 41 years of experience, I have come to believe that all of us at times in life may need some guidance and support with tough challenges or situations that cause emotional upset. However, I view these times as an opportunity to learn new strategies that can be more effective than the ones we have been using along with gaining critical insight into why we struggle in certain areas.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, families and couples. My training has been in treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Individual Psychodynamic Theory, Neurolinguistic Programing, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy.
Experience working in intervention, prevention and treatment programing with schools, hospitals, universities and community coalitions. I have worked as a Clinical Director in mental health clinics treating diverse populations. I have a love for working with young musicians, as I have been a singer/songwriter in rock /blues bands since my teens...
