The primary specialty of Dr. Rich Elmore and his female co-therapists is providing a variety of psychological services for Couples to include Pre-Marital Compatibility Assessment, Marital Therapy, Sex Therapy, Divorce Counseling and Divorce Mediation. Rich is certified in Family Mediation by the Supreme Court of Florida. In addition, he is certified in Clinical Hypnosis, Sex Therapy and Clinical Supervision. Rich is past President of the Brevard/Indian River Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association and Recipient of the Outstanding Psychologist of the Year Award for his extensive work with Combat Veterans and their Families.
Dr. Elmore is a Member of the Emeritus Associate Medical Staff within the Department of Psychiatry at Holmes Regional Medical Center where he served for nearly thirty years. He is an Emeritus Board Member, Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient and Fellow of the Florida Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Elmore is also a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology where he was Faculty training Clinical Psychologists for forty years prior to his academic retirement in 2020. His Couples Therapy research has been presented at dozens of meetings of the American Psychological Association and the Southeastern Psychological Association.
