First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Times are tough, and if you're reading this, I imagine that you or a loved one is currently going through something challenging. Throughout my time in this profession, I've never forgotten what a privilege it is to get to support people as they navigate these times. While my approach may differ depending on the person I am working with, I consistently bring warmth, understanding, and curiosity to the therapeutic process. My primary goal is to understand clients as they want to be understood and to help them lead lives they find meaningful.
My recent professional experiences have focused on adolescents, teens, and young adults, and I have a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with these phases of life. I have additional training and experience related to neurodiversity, and helping people to recognize how to utilize their unique strengths is incredibly rewarding.
Through my time working with clients, I aim to help them recognize and appreciate their strengths. This understanding and the self-acceptance that comes with it can make the challenges of life seem more manageable and the opportunities more exciting. While there are serious parts to this process, I believe that it has to include warmth, support, and humor.
