Welcome! My name is Pete, and I am very glad you are here! Whether we are struggling with work, relationships, health, or any of life's challenges, seeking outside help for a personal issue can be a difficult decision to make, especially if we are accustomed to facing problems entirely on our own. There is an ancient proverb that states “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Although it can be scary and full of unknowns, a decision to incorporate therapy (and go together) while trying to tackle overwhelming and important issues, can be one of the most empowering decisions you choose to make in life.
My background as a corporate executive for 20+ years lends itself well to working with business owners, executives/professionals, and others engaged in high stress occupations. I also find working with clients on issues related to grief and loss comes naturally having been raised in a family providing funeral service in my hometown for nearly 100 years.
