I have 16 years experience helping adolescent, collegiate, and adult men overcome their life obstacles and find solutions for their issues. I counsel and coach people towards relief and reprieve from mental health, addiction, relationship, financial, career, and other life struggles and issues using Motivational Interviewing , person centered, CBT, 12 step, and Life Coaching techniques and skills. I believe in the power of rapport with clients and having a real human connection in order to find real solutions.
I have worked with various aged males struggling with co-morbidity between addiction and mental health issues for 16 years. I have extensive knowledge of the addiction and recovery process. I have extensive knowledge and experience with both behavioral addictions and substance addiction Issues. I am a Certified Professional Life Coach as well.
I offer a safe and nurturing environment for people to find solutions for their struggles. I am an open minded and nonjudgmental therapist. Education: BA in Psychology with a minor In Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies and a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Texas Tech University.
