I am a clinical psychologist and performance psychologist. I run men's groups and offer one-to-one sessions. I am also an author. On a personal level, I embrace community, fitness, fun, family, and adventure as part of keeping a healthy nervous system, and my why is to assist others in improving their health and quality of life through caring for themselves and their mental health in new and improved ways.
Connecting and relating to your goals and learning about why now and what led you to schedule the session. A time to answer any questions about myself as a therapist and therapeutic processes or goals.
I have worked on Skid Row, in Max Security Prisons, with elite and high school athletes, so preparing for challenging experiences, learning to manage them, and learning how to adapt and grow through all of life's experiences shows a breadth of openness to where you come from and a willingness to meet clients where they are at.
