I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the State University College at Buffalo and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College. I am fully licensed to practice Mental Health Counseling and hold a credential as a substance abuse counselor through the office of alcohol and substance abuse services. I was trained in EMDR in 2015
I use an integrative approach that focuses on allowing people to clarify personal values and beliefs while challenging irrational thoughts that keep us from experiencing growth and getting past awful events. We explore the role of neuroscience, tackle issue of free will and biological determinism that impact behavior while weighing reasons for our existence.
