The 7 levels of Hell. If you’re looking for a therapist who is not your vanilla, same old boring therapist who HAS lived through the seven levels of hell, then your search is over. 12 yrs ago I went through a very difficult divorce. 10 yrs ago I lost a daughter to Leukemia . 9 yrs ago my now wife and I found each other. We’ve been through many difficult hurdles of having a blended family with 8 kids. We have an amazing marriage filled with love and challenges. 7 yrs ago I went back to school to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I would love to use my life experience, and professional training to help you overcome hard things.
Variety is the spice of life. About 1/3 of my clients are teens, 1/3 are individuals (adults) and the last 1/3 are couples. I originally got into counseling to help couples heal their marriages. I Quickly found that I love working with teens and individual adults as well. I use Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) primarily in my practice because it works!
Divorce and the aftermath: As mentioned I’ve been through a divorce and it was easily one of the hardest challenges I have ever lived through. I wish I had found a therapist at that time who could guide me through the heartache and the loss I was experiencing. I also went through the very challenging world of dating after divorce.
