People often come to therapy when they feel stuck in patterns they cannot fully understand or change on their own. You may find yourself repeating the same difficulties in relationships, feeling anxious or depressed, struggling with self-criticism, or sensing that something in your life feels blocked despite outward success.
I work with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply and make more lasting changes. My approach is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic, which means we look closely at the emotional meanings, conflicts, and relationship patterns that shape your experience, including patterns that may be difficult to see alone.
Treatment may be once weekly or more intensive, depending on your needs and goals. My work is informed by advanced psychoanalytic training at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
