About
I am an interactive, solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Among my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, relationship issues, gender identity, LGBTQ issues, PTSD. I have studied cognitive behavioral techniques through the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy. I am also a Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist assisting clients with processing traumatic memories.
I am independently licensed social worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapies. I utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques and maintain a private practice in Royal Oak, Michigan and Provincetown, MA. Along with in-office visits, I offer sessions via teleconferencing in all three states.
