I work with clients who struggle with mental health and/or substance use concerns. I believe dealing with life problems involves building up one's "foundation," and gaining healthier alternatives to work through day-to-day challenges. Open-mindedness and willingness are key, and I can aid in strengthening that foundation.
I specialize in the areas of depression and anxiety management, substance abuse, and Women's Health, but all client needs are welcome. I focus on using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and other coping interventions to build mental and emotional strength. I also perform Co-Occurring/Substance Abuse Evaluations for legal and/or voluntary needs.
I have three plus years of experience working in a co-occurring short-term residential treatment facility, as well as group therapy experience. I am certified in ASI/Standardized Format, Motivational Interviewing, ASAM, and have knowledge to work with those grieving a loss, suffering from depression, struggling with anxiety, or other daily stressors.
