Life can get overwhelming and stress can feel debilitating at times. Everyone goes through a period of time in their life where they may need support. I strive to provide a calm, comfortable atmosphere without any judgment and with unconditional positive regard. I'm a fan of a person-centered approach to therapy but I don't follow any one theory because every individual is different and therapy should be unique to you! I love working with people of every background and hope to create a strong therapeutic alliance by working as a team.
I enjoy working with active duty military personnel, spouses, and veterans as I also share an understanding of the obstacles that military life can include. I also have a Military and Trauma Counseling Certificate which aids me to assist clients in working through life events that cause high stress for both military-related personnel and civilians.
