Divorce and other major changes to our family can be destabilizing. Life can feel uncertain and overwhelming and it can be hard to get back on track. You begin to doubt your decision-making, question your judgment. I specialize in supporting children, adolescents and adults in navigating the complexities of divorce and blended or non-traditional family systems. I utilize expressive arts and play therapy when words alone aren't enough. We’ll learn how to understand ourselves in across environments and apply the understanding of these influences to our daily lives. Our sessions will help you to feel safe, seen, and supported.
I use evidence-based therapy to help understand patterns and build self-trust. Play therapy is used with young children who may not have the verbal skills to express challenges. It is effective across a range of concerns and can also benefit older children, adolescents, and adults by offering a creative, nonthreatening, and expressive approach to counseling.
Through learning about the world one is raised in and surrounded by, we often better understand ourselves and the choices we make. I look forward to working with you to learn more about yourself and to help you discover what you plan to do with your wild and precious life.
