I have over a decade of experience working with military families, legal issues, criminal issues, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Over the past 14 years I have put together a unique system of problem solving and planning called "Growing The Whole Way". This system teaches how to think bigger and work with the mind, body, and spirit for better results in making change. It also supports taking care of yourself in the process. My workbook includes key concepts and practical strategies to help with motivation, organization, and meaningful planning. It also teaches efficiency along with follow through and self development. Once complete this book can become a personalized reference outside of session time. This system can also be used again for future goals.

A vast majority of my experience is with substance abuse and mental health including the residual effects from substance abuse (i.e., family of origin, relationships and work concerns). I treat people with these issues with dignity and respect in a non-judgmental environment. My expertise includes: relapse prevention, emotion regulation, coping skills, impulse control and anger management. My modes of therapy include CBT, DBT, MI and solution focused therapy.
