Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I am a licensed mental health counselor & a licensed chemical dependency professional with over 25 years of experience working with individuals affected by behavioral health issues. I appreciate the importance of working collaboratively with clients and assisting them in establishing and reaching identified goals for treatment. I utilize cognitive behavioral interventions and operate from a person centered perspective. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety for adolescents and young adults who are facing challenges related to fulfilling their full potential.
Often those who struggle with addiction related issues have untreated trauma. Learning new skills to better manage the symptoms related to past trauma often provides people with an opportunity to address their substance use in a meaningful way. I believe in the old saying, "in crisis there is opportunity".
I work with adolescents, adults & couples who are affected by mental health issues.
