I've found that many people don’t realize how deeply trauma has shaped their sense of safety, connection, or self. You don’t need “big", "obvious" trauma for it to affect you. It can be subtle —like anticipating the worst, feeling emotionally numb, or people pleasing. These patterns are your nervous system’s way of protecting you. In therapy, we’ll work together to understand those protective parts and help you move toward a life that feels calmer, fuller, and more your own. In addition to trauma and PTSD, I love helping Clients navigating ADHD, ASD, OCD, anxiety and depression. These can all be "different rooms in the same house."
As a CBT therapist, I help people explore the stories that shape them. We are meaning makers, so let's look at what meaning you've made from your life. Let's explore where you've been, where you want to go, and what seems to get in the way. Then we will work to unlearn what's harmful, reclaim what’s true, and move toward joy, connection, and self-trust.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in anti-oppressive care. I draw from CBT, psychoanalysis, and parts work therapies like IFS. Healing isn’t always loud—I’ll help you tune into the small but meaningful changes that signal growth, even when it doesn’t feel obvious yet.
