Welcome-I am very happy you are here! I'm licensed in the states of Nebraska (In Person & Telehealth), Missouri (Telehealth), and Oklahoma (Telehealth). My belief as a clinician holds that the most useful tool in therapy is the collaborative relationship between therapist and client. I operate from what is often referred to as a psychodynamic or relational psychodynamic approach. In therapy our tasks are to build a trusting relationship, to discover and understand your beliefs/feelings on their deepest levels, to discover how your history and experiences have shaped your beliefs, and then to address how these beliefs have helped you
as well as limited you. I am a Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator and utilize The Daring Way methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead. Much of our emotional suffering is rooted in the struggle to
reconcile our unexpected and painful experiences (past/present) with our desire for a fulfilling and happy life. At times, we find that the ways we previously made sense of life no longer fit. These difficult seasons face us all with the challenge and opportunity to find and create meaning in spite of chaos. I'd love to help you get where you desire to be!
