Rhonda Mathis, MA, ATR-BC, LAC, Art Therapist in Plainfield
Nurturing Heart's mission is to provide affordable, creative, therapeutic services to those in the urban community who are more likely to experience mental illness at a disproportionate rate. Nurturing Heart's goal is to empower, promote wellness, relieve suffering, and to restore mental health in a safe, nurturing environment.
At Nurturing Heart, I will work with your child or teen using Art Therapy to help them express things that may not be expressible verbally. Art Therapy is the creative process facilitated by an art therapist to help foster self expression, create coping skills and strengthen sense of self.
A limited number of reduced fee slots are available to enable clients who would otherwise be financially unable to commit to weekly or bi-weekly sessions. If finances would limit your ability to come consistently, please inquire about the availability of reduced fee slots. 20 minute phone consultations are free.
